Meeke and Nagle formed an impressive team for MINI and worked together for 11 years. Driving this MINI Countryman, Kris Meeke, from Northern Ireland, made his debut driving for the Prodrive team, a leader in motorsport, in the World Rally Championship in 2011. His teammate, Paul Nagle, also Irish, found a successful career in rally, always being interested in the sport from a young age as his father was also a pro drrier. They took 11th overall that year driving the newly presented Mini Countryman WRC, making its racing debut, sporting a 1.6 liter, four-cylinder turbo-charged ending from BMW Motorsport. This was the first time MINI had raced in a rally even since the 1960s.
