The mdi Stool Genomic DNA (gDNA) Miniprep Kit is a fast, economical and easy isolation method of high purity gDNA from stool. The buffer system provided in the kit allows efficient lysis followed by selective binding of gDNA to the spin column. Stool samples contain many compounds that can degrade DNA and inhibit downstream enzymatic reactions. Reagents and columns of the kit are developed in such a way that in combination they remove all inhibitory substances and increase the sensitivity of enzymatic reactions by thousand fold. Example: PCR, Restriction Digestion, etc.
